 Northrop Grumman Northrup Grumman in Newport News is gearing up to build the new X class of carriers. We were awarded the complete coating package for the new CMOF (carrier modification and fabrication) building, without any safety issues.  Repainting Container Cranes in New Orleans We have successfully repainted many cranes up and down the east coast. Once again, our national reputation for safety, high-quality workmanship and customer service were the deciding factors for our customer in New Orleans, LA. They felt more comfortable with Phillips crews handling the repainting of their container cranes than any other company, even though we were not the lowest bidder.  Recoating Paraxylene Tanks One of our customers, a major chemical company, contracted our company to repaint three paraxylene tanks 180' diameter. The main reason we were chosen was our award-winning safety program. Besides that, our original paint job was in service for over 20 years for them.  Vacuum Truck Services Phillips Industrial Services offers a wide range of services including vacuum truck services. Our crews recover products from chemical tanks, industrials boilers, power plants, and ships. If the products are reusable we can place a collection tank between our truck and the products for reuse. We can even find underground piping which might be leaking without damaging piping and causing more leaks. Vacuuming services, along with our hydro blasting to 40,000 psi services, are completed during plant shutdowns/ turnarounds. We are the oldest waterblasting company in SC. We purchased our first machine in 1974 and have not had a serious accident in all these years. |
